Aod (Always on Display) is the app that lets you manage the AoD feature on your OnePlus device. As many users know, this feature allows Android devices with OLED and AMOLED screens to display limited information even when the device is inactive. It has largely replaced LED notifications.
Find Always-On Display options
First, to access Aod (Always on Display), search for "AOD" in the search bar within your OnePlus device's Settings. Once you have found this section, you can explore all the available options. If you don't want to use this feature, you can simply turn it off by unchecking the Always-On Display toggle. This will help save battery, among other benefits.
Choose what information to display
With Aod (Always on Display), you can select exactly what information appears on your screen. By default, it shows the time, date, battery level, and notifications. However, you can deactivate any of these as you wish. Additionally, you can set the Always-On Display to turn off automatically if the battery drops below 10%. Although it doesn't consume much power, it does contribute to battery wear over time.
Add custom elements to your OLED screen
Beyond the default information, Aod (Always on Display) lets you add plenty of customizable elements. You can create drawings that appear on the screen or write phrases that always remain visible. You can also add different clock styles and even powerful visual elements. You'll have full freedom to personalize your screen.
The best way to customize your screen
Download the Aod (Always on Display) APK if you own a OnePlus device and want to give your screen a unique touch. With this app, you can customize the appearance of your idle screen, choosing from dozens of options.
